When you Search or Browse, you
are looking through selections from our database. These
are some of our most popular, familiar or interesting works. If you
can't find what you are looking for, it might just be because we aren't
yet ready to present it on the Internet, or maybe your search request
was too narrow. Try the suggestions below and you should be able to
find the information you need.
To improve the chances of finding what you want, try this advice:
- When using keyword(s), use only the most unique ones.
- Don't combine as many search options.
- Try using Search The Splits instead of Search The Hits.
To narrow down your search, try adding more search options--
For instance:
- Artist - Elton John combined with Decade -
1980s and Chart - Pop. (This will show you only
those Elton John songs which appeared on the Pop charts in the
1980s.)
For a different approach, try Browsing.
- You may find ideas you hadn't thought of.
Some examples of items you probably won't find might be:
- Artist - Elton John combined with Decade -
1920s. (Elton John wasn't yet born yet)
- A complete Search The Hits page for a song that was not written
by a Featured Artist, and which did not appear in a major
hit recording or motion picture.
- A Search The Splits page for a song that originated outside
the U.S.A., and/or which is represented by Warner Special Products only
in a very few small territories outside the U.S.A.
Some examples of things you would find might be:
- Artist - Elton John combined with Decade -
1980s. (He has many great songs from the 1980s.)
- A Search The Hits page for a song that was written by a Featured
Artist, and which appeared in a major hit recording or motion
picture.
- A Search The Splits page for a song that originated in the U.S.A.,
or which is represented by Warner Special Products for any territory including
the U.S.A. (i.e., the World)
We hope to do featured pages on many of our Artists, but
we had to start with a small group. We've tried to include a variety
that represents our different Artist clients and the range of
their work.
Also, you may notice that much of our information is from the
United States. While we are working as fast as we can to provide
details from our offices around the world, this can be very complicated,
so we are displaying only the simpler international information
right now.
